Our Mission
Are you a songwriter? A writer in general? A visual artist? Maybe even a sculptor, a designer, or a dancer? If creativity's involved, then it belongs here!
New Brunswick's young, up-and-coming artists DESERVE a platform, and our mission is to build them one!
This summer, MARIKET, or the Maritime Art Market, will be a convention-style, not for profit event directed towards providing the space and opportunity for regional artists, organizations, and entrepreneurs not only in Fredericton, but Maritime Canada as a whole, to bring their work and passion to light.

Drawing inspiration from the cultural staple that Japanese Doujinshi Markets and Conventions are to the global alternative art scene, we aim to bring this artist-centered format home to Fredericton.
We hope to use this event to open new doors and opportunities for the artists in our community that continue to shape Fredericton's role as a cultural icon in Canada and the world by giving them a space where they can share their passion freely!
